I recently purchased one of these Fridges to fit in to my new Model 3 "Highland". After having tried several other fridges over the years for different car applications, this one is the best. The customised fit is great and what's most impressive is that it takes a very short time to get the internal Fridge Temperature down to my set level to keep drinks cold - far quicker than others I have tried. Before purchase, I was a little concerned about external temperatures because of restricted ventilation but the Fridge comes with a "Lid" kit to replace the In-Floor lid that sits over the Fridge. This lid kit has venting grilles in it to allow heat to escape from the vented outlets in the actual Fridge. As I was also concerned about heat-soak in the Trunk/Boot, I've also been live-monitoring temperatures in the actual Trunk/Boot and quite surprisingly, the temperatures in that space only go up by a couple of degrees, so no issue there. The Fridge itself is well made, has a nice sturdy lid and provides ample storage for my needs. Perhaps a bit dearer than buying a non-customised solution but for all the reasons above, it's very well worth it. I also decided to put a dedicated Power Socket in the Trunk because I didn't want to have loose and messy cables running back to the Centre console.
