The spare is of high quality. Perfect size for our Tesla MY and does not take up much space. I have not had time fitting it but I have seen other reviews with the spare fitted and looks good.

Delivered promptly, product as described. Note that even though it’s a spacesaver and is much more compact than a standard wheel it’s still quite bulky. The lack of tie down points in my Y version is a negative (some versions do have them apparently). Still, the best solution to prevent a stranding without unnecessarily destroying a tire with goo.

The kit I purchased has a solid feel and I am sure it can be relied on to provide the support needed. At this point did not yet have to use it to replace a tyre on the road but have trialed using it in the garage - it works great !
The one aspect that could be improved in the kit is the safety triangle - the one supplied appears flimsy.
As impresed as I am with the kit the same could not be said for the delivery process. The package was delayed by about a week. I understand that the delivery is out of Braumach control and was the responsibility of Australia Post.

Wheel is good, but would be better if jack kit was in a bag that fitted inside the rim. Could then keep it all together in the wheel bag and not have to stow jack and other bits in different places

There have been suggestions online that the wheel/tyre be supplied deflated with a pump. This would allow the combination to fit in the frunk or under the boot floor space.
The issue of safely tieing the wheel down has also come up.

The wheel and accesories parcels arrived very soon after ordering, trouble free process. It is as good a piece of kit as all the other reviews I read led me to expect.
Here it is ready for the trip but I hope it’s all the action it ever gets. I’m optimistic about that since the other factor in all the other reviews I read is that no one had ever had to use it.
All I can add is that the wheel occupies not a lot of volume in the rear of the Tesla Y and secures easily to the three child restraint points. The tools don’t take up that much space in the below floor storage, along with other items coming along for the ride just in case, like a Tesla Portable Charger which is great when trialled in the driveway but with a bit a luck will never see use along the track. either.

The only problem with the kit is a lack of a bag for the jack and tools. They are delivered in a separate box and then have nothing to store them in to keep them all together in the car.

In Australia this is a must have. Tesla will fix your tyre within 80kms of a service centre. I’m about 500kms from one!

You should include a screw driver to remove the hub cover. Seems like a cheap way to complete the kit. All the other goods are great

I bought the Braumach spare wheel for my Model Y as a safety measure when travelling in the country. I don’t keep it in the car when in the city. It gives me peace of mind. I haven’t had to use it yet. Comes with everything you need , even a safety reflector triangle.

Peace of mind for my Tesla Model Y road trips has been achieved! I ordered the Braumach space saver spare tyre and kit. It arrived really promptly and looks to be of high quality. The kit has everything else I’ll need for a puncture scenario. A good quality jack, special jack pucks and so on. While I am not looking forward to my first flat tyre, at least I know I’m now well prepared.

Exact items as advertised arrived at our farm promptly very soon after the order was placed. All items were in perfect shape and well packaged. We were kept well informed of the progress of the order by yourselves and Austpost. The spare wheel and jack/ accessories are exactly what is needed in the Tesla, especially out here - rough roads and remote. The weight is manageable, especially with the fitted soft case around the wheel. Links on the soft case also allow attachment of the wheel to the back of the back seats - a great safety feature. The kit is as advertised. I carried it in the rear boot on our recent week long trip and thankfully did not have to use it. It does take up a fair amount of space in the boot but the knowledge that it was there if needed gave me considerable peace of mind.

We do a fair amount of country driving in our Tesla Yand having the space saver spare just gives us peace of mind if we should have a flat tyre. Murphy’s law will ensure it's in an area with no phone coverage and little traffic
