I was a bit surprised that the tire appears to be solid rubber unlike most space saver spares.
This is probably a good thing except it does add quite a lot of weight compared to pump up ones.

The tyre and jack seem good quality and effective.
The saddle for the jack doesn't engage with the plug for the base of the tesla. The plug is flat and the jack has a big groove to fit a more traditional car.

This space-saver spare which I purchased for my Tesla Model 3 is exactly as advertised. It saved me hundreds of dollars compared to importing the popular US equivalent. What was more impressive was the customer service. I wanted an item that was not showing in the online store. After contacting Braumach service they altered their website to include a new item and adjusted the stock level to enable my purchase. I placed the order in Sydney on Friday and it was delivered from Melbourne on Monday.

Like other reviews haven't used it yet but its very comforting to have it when we do our next road trip.Had a 5hr issue in the Lewis pass with no cellphone coverage pre purchase of this spare if it was with me then it was a simple change and of to garage 40kms away not sitting roadside getting eaten by sand Flys .

Very happy with the spare wheel & tire and jack kit that comes with it.
My wife & I ran a quick check to see where the puck & jack fits and tested the ease of use for the jack, wheel wrench & jack ratchet handle.
All fit and work really well. Safety Triangle is a great bonus.

This is a good quality space saver rim and tyre for my Tesla. Everything is there to change a tyre if needed. This is especially useful in country settings were help maybe far away. Doesn’t take up as much room in the boot as a full sized spare and will get one out of what could be a tricky and time consuming situation when far from home. I like the tyre bag to keep the spare in. This option is not cheap but depends on where you are if you do get a flat tyre. I see it as extra insurance and for me is peace of mind knowing I can resolve what could be a big problem.

This is fine for 2 travellers but would be a bit tight if a full car of passengers and luggage for a long trip. Might need a roof carrier for luggage in that case.

I've not had to test the spare as yet but bought it in prep for a couple of long west Qld/NSW trips. The spare tyre comes in a neat carry bag with everything to get it swapped over. Overall all the pieces appear to be decent quality.
The rest of the tools come in a long carton, which I've now swapped out for a similar sized zippered bag to keep it both organised and (hopefully) more difficult to lose before they're needed.

I bought the spare for the Tesla Model 3 LR for piece of mind on a long road trip. The quality of the tyre, equipment and storage bag is excellent. Although it takes up a lot off space it was worth the purchase price for the knowledge that it was in the back and could easily be reached in needed.

I wanted the security of a spare tyre when I take my Tesla Model 3 on long trips out of Sydney. This kit has everything you need.
The box with all the tools fits in the under storage in the boot and the wheel sits in the boot. It does take up a fair bit of space but I feel its worth it.

The Braumach spare wheel suites my purpose very well. It is good quality and includes all the necessary tools for a wheel change, great peace of mind for being on a trip. As I like to run a car fridge in the boot, the wheel needed a solution to get it out of the way. I made a simple frame from 25 x 25 x 1.6 aluminium and plastic knock in joiners, this supports the spare wheel up against the upper shelf and allows free space underneath - works for me!

Solid space saver spare. All components fit in the bag provided, so very neat in the boot. It goes without saying that this should be included in the purchase price. I’m not sure Tesla roadside assist would help me in the dark, halfway to Wangaratta. A must if your travelling to the regions.

I recently purchased the Braumach spare wheel kit for a Tesla M3 RWD as past experience with non-repairable tyre damage weighed on my mind with modern the 'no spare' approach.
I did a dry run with a wheel change in my driveway today (standard 18" wheels) and was very happy with the kit.
Forum discussions indicated the torque of the Tesla wheel nuts could be a problem but the extendable wheel nut wrench allowed straight forward removal of the Tesla wheel nuts.
The one thing that might come into play with a completely flat is getting the jack and jack puck under the low Tesla body. I am going to make a wooden wedge that would be able to be driven on with a flat tyre to raise that wheel 4 or 5 cm.
I hope I never have to use this spare but I know that if I ever have to use it, it will be able to be fitted on the roadside easily.

Fantastic service from Braumach in supplying their equivalent of a Tesla Modern Spare tyre for my Tesla Model 3.
These are hard to come by as couldn't find any other suppliers in Australia. I went on their wait list and was notified as soon as next batch arrived. Just as well I did because they sell out as soon as they're available. A VERY popular item for Tesla owners. Ordering was simple and delivery was prompt. Kit includes beautiful high quality alloy rim, full diameter tyre though narrower than full size with 80 Kmh speed limit. Ratchet Jack with Tesla Pads, Socket wrench, safety triangle and even gloves. Only dissappointment is the attractive heavy duty carry bag. Lifting handle tears off too easily and likewise the shoulder strap attachment points tear away from the bag. So Sad! Yep the wheel is heavy even without the tool kit inside the bag. My solution was to wrap a cheap ratchet strap around the girth of the tyre and lift it using that. Otherwise a fantastic essential for long distance Tesla drivers in remote areas of Australia. Thanks Braumach for offering these for sale.

The spacesaver wheel and tyre is excellent and fit easily. The only problem is the jack ( rated at1500kg) is very hard to wind up (the car weighing over 1800kg). I think a larger rated jack would be much better and easier to operate.
