This was an easy and exact fit. I did not need to remove the mount assembly as suggested in many locations. Support the gate, remove the security clips, add new strut and re-seat clip. x2 and done. Lift is high, fast and quiet.

It is a 2 person job, someone has to hold boot open while the other does the install. Otherwise you get a few hits in head..
