Struts are OK. Install easy enough and will hopefully last a while. My only complaint is they're not particularly "strong" as they don't provide enough pressure to open the tailgate smoothly or even to open it all the way. It's like they're already old and worn-out before having ever been used. You might want to reconsider the design of these to provide more lifting power.

Exactly the parts I needed. BrauMach website is awesome as it gave me all the details on the parts to ensure that it was the correct fit etc. Replaced the old worn struts and now the boot not only stays up but I dont have to use so much force to lift it as it assists the lift when opening.
